If supply chain issues are keeping you waiting, find out if you can retain existing insulation and remain in code!
The COVID-19 pandemic has disrupted supply chains around the world, including those of the roofing industry. Not only are roofing contractors facing a widespread shortage of materials and products, but costs are increasing as well. This limited availability of materials and pricing volatility can cause roofing contractors to delay project start dates and lose jobs.
The NRCA warns this will continue: “Roofing material and product shortages, long lead times and significant price volatility will continue through 2022.”
Roofing Dynamics Can Help!
Think a complete tear-off is necessary? It might not be! Find out if you can retain existing insulation and remain in code with an Infrared Survey!
What’s Included in an Infrared Survey?
Roofing Dynamics combines infrared technology with sophisticated moisture meter probes and core analysis to provide a comprehensive report.
What Can Infrared Technology Do?
The infrared camera measures heat loss. Executed almost strictly at night, the thermal image shows damaged insulation or other subsurface anomalies below the roof mat.
Wet insulation loses its “R” factor, or thermal resistance, heats up more than the surrounding dry insulation, and appears to “glow” in the camera. Other anomalies such as deep cracks and interply moisture also register in the cameras field.
